A UCSB PaCE professional certificate is awarded upon completion of the 4-5 required courses totaling 14 units (or 126 hours of instruction), listed in the Program Schedule each with a letter grade of “C” or better. All requirements must be completed within five (5) years after the student enrolls in their first course. Students not pursuing a certificate are welcome to take as many individual courses as they wish.
There are no prerequisites for courses in this certificate nor is a bachelor's degree required.
To become an official candidate in the program, students need only register in one of the courses in the approved curriculum.

If all the Certificate requirements have been met, after your request is processed, you will receive an email notification from Parchment with a digital copy of your Certificate. A printed copy will be mailed via regular US Postal Service to the mailing address provided in your PaCE Student Profile 8-10 business days after receipt of the digital copy.
The $95 Certificate Release Fee is non-refundable. This Fee is required in order to receive a copy of your Certificate.

AMA & DMI Certification Information:
Upon successful completion MGMNT X477 and MGMNT X477.1, students are eligible to sit for a 3-hour computer-based examination of their digital marketing acumen. Successful candidates will be awarded globally recognized professional certifications from the American Marketing Association (Professional Certified Marketer - PCM) and the Digital Marketing Institute (Certified Digital Marketing Professional) and a professional badge which can be displayed on their LinkedIn and social media profiles.
