A certificate is awarded upon completion of the 3 required courses totaling 16 units (or 144 hours of instruction), listed in the Program Schedule each with a letter grade of “C” / "Pass" or better. All requirements must be completed within five (5) years after the student enrolls in his/her first course. Students not pursuing a certificate are welcome to take as many individual courses as they wish.
There are no prerequisites for courses in this certificate nor is a bachelor's degree required.
To become an official candidate in the program, students need only register in one of the courses in the approved curriculum.
