So, what is the difference between BCBAs and BCaBAs?
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) holds a graduate-level degree and is able to provide behavior analytic services. A BCBA may also supervise BCaBAs and RBTs (registered behavior technicians). Typically, BCBAs provide consultation, direct services, training/workshops, and supervision.
A Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst holds an undergraduate degree and is able to provide behavior analytic services under the direct supervision of a BCBA. BCaBA's may supervise RBTS.
