What kind of technology do I need for the online courses?

No additional software is needed. All you need is access to a computer and Internet access. UCSB Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) uses GauchoSpace, UC Santa Barbara’s interactive Moodle® course management system. You log into GauchoSpace to participate in course discussions, access readings, take quizzes, upload assignments, etc. In some cases, you can track your grades for your course. Official grades are posted in your student profile on UCSB Professional and Continuing Education website, under “My Enrollment History.” You can also order an official transcript by following these steps.
